And here it is... :)

Back from three weeks with my family in Utah and New Hampshire...and I guess I'm ready to show you the "baby bump." But trust me...if I had put anything up before three weeks ago, you wouldn't have believed me. Most people couldn't tell...And it definitely started to really show the week after I got to Utah. It hurt to grow that fast. I think that's all I'll say about that :)
And here they are...Weeks 25, 26, 27, 28

Oh yea...and here's the little man from the ultrasound :)

He's cute huh?
So a little update: he moves ALL the time, his feet are apparently really comfortable in my ribs, and he really doesn't like when I lie on my back. I have an appointment next week, but so far everything has been perfect!

And now we're less than 12 weeks away. It seems to be creeping up on us so fast. It's just been so busy. But that is fine with me. We're really excited. But when I think about it coming it scares me a bit; the mothering part more than the labor part. But I keep reminding myself that the timing was all in the Lord's hands, and so I know with Him I can be the mother He, and he, needs me to be.

  1. Yay! Love the pictures! And you're right. You can definitely tell that there's growth between the first and last pictures. Sorry you had to grow so quickly. I know that hurts. And yay for ultrasound pictures!!! Such a good profile shot. I'm excited to see him in color. :) Have you guys thought of names at all yet? Have you started nesting? I like nesting. haha :)
And don't worry! You'll be a wonderful mother! Labor's really not that bad. The worst part is recovery because you're tired but you have a baby to take care of. I suggest letting him be in the nursery the first night so you can sleep. But that's just me. You'll be surprised how naturally it comes and I'm sure there are many many people that won't be asked for advice. Just remember that you don't have to take all of it. Every kid is different and every mother too. Just do what works for you! Ok. Longest post ever. haha I'm just excited. I love you!

  2. You're so cute Courtney! I knew you'd be an adorable pregnant person. :) I agree with Katie (see post above mine) you will be an awesome mother. The Lord will bless you with the abilities that you need for your child. You're going to be surprised how easily mothering comes and how quickly you'll fall in love with your little baby.
